Organizer: International Making Cities Livable LLC (IMCL)

Where: La Fonda Hotel, Santa Fe, New Mexico

When: October 2-6, 2017

What: 54th International Making Cities Livable Conference on Public Places for Community, Democratic Dialogue, Health & Equity.

Who: This conference will bring together 300-350 delegates - elected officials, practitioners and scholars in planning, urban design, public health, architecture, landscape architecture, land use development, transportation planning, human development, and social sciences from around the world - to share experience, ideas and expertise.

Why: At this conference, we will examine creative strategies, tools and design solutions for creating urban places that bring people together, foster social life and civic engagement, facilitate an active lifestyle, strengthen the social immune system, and further social and economic equity.

These goals cannot be achieved by professionals in one field alone. They require collaborative efforts and insights from many disciplines. We will hear from world-renowned experts working at the interface between city government, planning, urban design, public health, landscape architecture, transportation planning, architecture, economics, and social sciences, and review outstanding projects from North America, Europe, the UK, and around the world.

Sponsorship: Your sponsorship will emphasize your organization’s dedication to the goals of making cities more healthy, sociable, green, and equitable. It will help ensure the highest quality speakers on these topics, and carry this message to a broad international audience.

By bringing together a diverse group of delegates from the gity government, planning, urban design, public health and other fields, we will increase the understanding of why it is so important to improve urban public places, and highlight exemplary organizations, firms, and projects worldwide that are achieving these goals.

Please demonstrate your comittment to these issues by becoming a Sponsor.

Your sponsorship would qualify for one of our five sponsor classifications depending on the level of contribution. For example, with a donation of $10,000-$20,000 you will receive acknowledgement on the Conference program, your logo and link on the Conference website, as well as a sign display at the event, and an exhibit table in the conference venue for all participants to view throughout the week.
